Tour Planning : Sun Way 2
Day 1: At 6:30 AM, our dedicated guide will receive you at Khulna's 4th Ghat and escort you to the ship, where you will be assigned your room. The ship will then set sail towards the Andharmanik Eco-tourism Center of the Sundarbans, navigating the Rupsa and then the Passur River. On the way, you'll see the Khulna Shipyard, Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali Bridge, Rampal Thermal Power Plant, and Mongla Port. Upon arrival at Andharmanik, we will follow the instructions of armed security guards and a trained guide, walking in a single file along the designated foot trail. The path is lined with dense pneumatophore plants, and if we are quiet, we may even spot deer. The ship will then proceed towards the Katka Wildlife Sanctuary, located at the estuary of the sea.
Day 2: Waking up early, we will enjoy a silent canal cruising on a traditional boat to appreciate the tranquility of the forest. From there, we will cross a field of tiger ferns and a deer grazing field, and walk through a deep forest to reach the Badamtala sea beach, three kilometers away. We will experience the confluence of Bangladesh's two glories: the "Sundarbans" and the "Bay of Bengal." Afterward, we will return to the ship for breakfast and then head to Tiger Tila. This area is located beyond mud, breathing roots, and a terrifying Goran forest. On the way, we hope to see deer grazing in the Keora chute, and on our way back, we will enjoy the Katka beach, Inshallah. We will take a boat trip down the narrow "Kochikhali" canal for a jungle safari. Beyond the forest department's patrol post, you will find a wide-open area where large spotted deer and wild boars roam. This area is frequented by the Bengal tiger, as the abundance of sun grasses provides ample cover for them to lie in wait for their prey. Therefore, all travel here must be under the watchful eyes of government guards with guns and our guide. Dimar Char is an island that has emerged at the confluence of the Supati Canal and the Bay of Bengal, with the sea on three sides and the Supati Canal on one. The island is known as the most beloved travel destination in the Sundarbans for many tourists, thanks to its extensive beach and the picturesque sight of countless deer roaming in the open field adjacent to the deep green forest. After enjoying the beauty of the twilight and the sunset over the horizon, we will return to our travel vessel.
Day 3: In the soft morning light, we will visit the Karamjal Tourist Center. This center is actually a breeding center for the forest department's endangered saltwater crocodiles, deer, and tortoises. Here you will see monkeys roaming freely in groups. There are also deer, crocodiles, and tortoises, which fascinate tourists when seen up close.
